How to turn on notifications

Nictick alerts are delivered by your browser, so turning them on takes one tap — plus a one-time Allow in the browser’s own popup. Find your device below. It’s free, and you can turn it off any time.

Computer — Chrome, Edge or Brave

On the Nictick page, click Enable push notifications (or Allow in the popup that appears).
When the browser asks, click Allow. That’s it.
If you don’t see the browser popup (or you blocked it before): click the lock / tune icon at the far left of the address bar → Site settings → set Notifications to Allow → reload the page.

Computer — Firefox

Click Enable push notifications, then Allow in Firefox’s popup.
If it was blocked: click the lock icon in the address bar → clear the “Send Notifications” block → reload and try again.

Android phone — Chrome

Open the Nictick page in Chrome (not inside WhatsApp/Instagram — open it in the real browser).
Tap Enable push notifications → Allow.
If it was blocked: tap the ⋮ menu → Site settings → Notifications → Allow. Also check your phone’s Settings → Apps → Chrome → Notifications are on.

iPhone or iPad — Safari

Apple only allows website notifications when the site is added to your Home Screen first (iOS 16.4 or newer):

Open the Nictick page in Safari.
Tap the Share icon (the square with an up-arrow) → Add to Home Screen → Add.
Open Nictick from the new Home Screen icon (not from Safari), then tap Enable push notifications → Allow.

Still not getting them?

Make sure your device isn’t on silent / Do Not Disturb / Focus mode.
On some Android phones (Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Realme), open Settings → Battery and set the browser to No restrictions so it isn’t put to sleep.
Try turning notifications off and on again from the Nictick page — that refreshes the connection.
