US 30-Year Yield Hits 2004 High as Bond Selloff Deepens
US long bonds sold off again. The 30-year Treasury yield rose to about 5.43%, its highest since 2004, while the 10-year held above 5.1%, a level last seen in 2007. A larger Treasury buyback failed to steady demand, and markets now price roughly a 70% chance of another Fed hike in October.
